The idea to provide a gratis Browsergame Portal , was born in December 2007. Browsergames are fascinating, because they can easily be played in the browser , the user doesn't need to buy expensive software and has the chance to challenge thousands of real players. So, the intention was to bundle all the advantages of Browsergames within one portal. Beyond that, we wanted to implement innovative and functional Social Community Features in order to provide the ultimate USP to our Community

On playnik.com it's possible to bundle all awards ,the users can win while playing the games, on the portal and to compare them with their friends achievements.

Our community always has an overview about all upcoming game events and can compare with eachother in the "across-the-game" bestlists. Who received the most of the awards, who is the most active player and who obtained the highest nik-awards?

playnik.com combines the newest Social Gaming features with great community- fun, provides exciting and varied browsergames and just wants to offer the community a new experience of browsergaming.

The portal was relaunched in October 2008, several new Gaming features were implemented and the portals backend structure was improved as well. We can claim proudly that we are on the way to become the best browsergame community on the market, we intent to become the "One-Stop-Shop" for Browsergame fans, while bundling own games one the one hand and third party content on the other hand.

We are really looking foreward to fighting against pirates, soldiers and agents and to building castles, settlements and shipyards , because we are thrilled browsergamers too and are always right in the middle of our games, to fight for honour and glory and as a matter of course for the highest Nik-Scores.
