I met a trader from Holland in one of the taverns of Port Royal who took me to Tortuga, cause i´ve beeen hunted everywhere in Port Royal. The dutch guy told me, no ship of the Royal Navy dared to sail in the waters around Tortuga, the Pirate stronghold of those days.
Anyhow, with honest work, you couldn’t become anything in Tortuga. Playing Cards with the old Lucky George, a pirate of the old school, i won his coffin ship, a pinnace with an old rusty cannon and a cadet named Heny. Then the whole adventure started.
